What's happening here?
Sound is created by vibrations that travel through the air as waves. These waves have two main properties:
- Frequency: The number of waves per unit of time. This affects the pitch of the sound. Higher frequency = higher pitch.
- Amplitude: The size or strength of the wave. This affects the volume of the sound. Higher amplitude = louder sound.
